High Cube Standard Shipping Containers – Extra Height, Extra Space
R65,000.00
ISO-certified shipping containers with an additional 30cm (1ft) of internal height, ideal for oversized cargo and conversion projects requiring more headroom. Available in 40ft and 20ft sizes.
The High Cube Shipping Container is similar to a standard container but provides extra internal height (9ft 6in / 2.89m) compared to the standard 8ft 6in. This makes it a preferred option for transporting or storing taller or bulkier cargo, as well as for container conversions like offices, shops, or homes where additional headroom creates a more comfortable interior space.
Built from corten steel, high cube containers are durable, weather-resistant, and secure. They comply with ISO standards, making them suitable for intermodal transport (road, rail, sea). With lockable double doors and a reinforced marine-grade plywood floor, they offer the same reliability as standard units with more volume.
